This was stated by Deputy Minister Phan Thi My Linh Building at the international scientific conference “Planning and Urban Development Green – Intelligence in Vietnam” by the Urban Planning and Development of Vietnam (QHPTDTVN) , National Institute of Korean Immigration and JUNGDO UIT Group Inc. (South Korea) jointly held on 07/11.

According to Tran Ngoc Chinh, chairman QHPTDTVN, Vietnam is in the process of urbanization taking place at high speed. The competition with the quality of urban life is increasingly high, requiring strategic vision of the process of building, managing and developing green urban … Urban, Urban is one of the smart vision strategic objectives for the construction and urban development in Vietnam.

This event is one of the practical activities the 15th anniversary of the foundation QHPTDTVN .

Mr. Tran Ngoc Chinh said urban green concept is understood as urban reaches 7 criteria : green space , green building , green transportation , green industry , green environmental quality , conservation of natural landscapes , scenic , historical buildings , culture , community life and environment friendly nature .

Along with urban green , urban intelligence is one of the development trend of the world . Although this concept is still relatively new in Vietnam, but many experts and planners expect about a new future for many municipalities in Vietnam .

Mr Main added: Intelligent Urban is a combination of urban space and information technology . Urban Smart will help people manage and operate all work on information technology systems , under the direction of a center . Urban Intelligent human life becomes easier, safe living environment and more comfortable .

Speaking at the conference , Vice Minister Phan Thi My Linh said: Urban Vietnam in the trend of development and international integration also facing problems as the global economic crisis , climate change , sea ​​level rise …

Therefore , Vietnam needs further consideration and a new perspective on planning and urban development with priority given to developing a model of urban green , urban intelligent and sees this as the goal of building and urban development Vietnam’s market in the future .

According to Deputy Minister , the concept of urban green , green space , green building , green transportation , green industry , environmental quality of urban green , conservation of natural landscapes , landscapes , buildings historical , cultural communities living and environmentally friendly nature … there is not a new concept .

Yet it remains a topical theme and certain appeal , especially in the implementation of the planning process and management of urban development in our country today.

The problem of planning and development of urban ecology , urban smart , sustainable urban development … has been getting attention and close direction of the Party, State , Government , government the urban and the positive response of the people , because this is a milestone to confirm the quality of life of urban dwellers in Vietnam are raising .

Deputy expectations : this workshop , participants will be experts contributed much valuable comments so that we can Planning Association and Urban Development Vietnam will have recommendations for building muscle policies , systems , legal documents and other relevant regulations .

At the same time , the Ministry of Construction earliest texts on urban green , urban smart to consider research , should promulgate legal documents , regulations and standards in the future .

But first , Vietnam needs to change the perception , thinking strategically for the development of Vietnam’s urban systems urban green right direction in the near future .

Vietnam need to develop green perspective , green criteria , rules and standards in green building planning , design and construction of urban infrastructure including transportation , water supply , drainage, treatment wastewater , power supply , telecommunications , network development education , health , culture , sports and urban architecture green …
